[Feature Request] Add user option to expand full bash command output in ctrl+o

Bug Description
ctrl+o does not expand full bash command output (known issue #26954); it's been over a month, please re-add under a user option to support the original intent and change default to hiding if your new UI patterns are more acceptable. This allows both backwards and forwards compatability for different users and use-cases.
