[BUG] OOM caused by software update of claude code

What's Wrong?

The RSS of Claude Code keeps growing until OOM. I suspect it is downloading new Claude Code in background. The proof is an empty file of new version under ~/.local/share/claude/versions/. Once I download the new version manually or through the script provided on the web site, the problem is gone.
