Remote control stopped working — "not yet enabled" / "unknown skill"

I'm on Max and remote control used to work fine. Now typing /remote-control in a session gives "Unknown skill: remote-control", and running claude remote-control from the terminal gives "Remote Control is not yet enabled for your account." Tried logging out and back in, checked env vars, updated CLI — nothing helps. Doesn't work from claude.ai/code either.
