Bug Description
I just upgraded Claude Code to 0.2.39. The /release-notes command only shows changes up to 0.2.37.
Steps to Reproduce
- Ensure you have Claude Code 0.2.39+ installed.
- Run Claude Code
- Issue the command
/release-notes.
Expected Behavior
To see the changes up to the current version.
Actual Behavior
Even though I'm running 0.2.39, I only see changes up to 0.2.37.

Release notes are not published for every version, since many updates just contain bug fixes. The published notes are just for highlighting new user-facing features and occasionally calling out major bug fixes.
We intend to have a published changelog soon though!
For what it's worth, I think logging and reporting bug fixes is critical communication for a software development tool, particularly one that creates and modifies source code.
Asserting that particular bugs are fixed allow users to know:
@ashwin-ant I'm in complete agreement with @peterkaminski and was thinking the same.
I would like to see as much transparency as possible in the updates, but even a general indication of the bugs that were fixed would be great for all the reasons Peter stated.
