[Bug] Unexpected high token consumption on short prompts

Bug Description
Three small prompts burned 8% of my 5 hour usage. WTF? 10 days ago that would still be on 1%. Why are you screwing yourselves this way? Claude code is basically unusable. Is almost like you don't want subscribers
