[Bug] Long token movement delays and apparent request queueing with minimal output

Bug Description
I see lots of time passing with no token movement. Sometimes 15+ minutes, no updates, nothing. When I interrupt it to ask if it's locked up, it quickly says, "Oh no I have all 4 agent extracts in hand and was about to write the final report ..." and then it moves along a bit, then another 7+ minute delay (hardly any token movement ... maybe 30 tokens).... it's almost like I'm waiting in line at the bank, waiting for my turn. Like I'm in a queue? The delays are quite long. What are seemingly simple tasks are taking much longer than they should based on past exeperience.
