[Bug] Intermittent rendering glitch with dashed lines in tmux panes

Bug Description
sometimes using claude i suddenly get dashed lines under every line in all panes of my tmux window. sometimes it resolves itself and other times i have to switch to a new window to resolve it. this happens infrequently. it may occur hourly at times and much less frequently (several hours) at other times.
