Allow Claude to access companion (Veldt) comments
Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Apr 5, 2026 by beimingliu Closed Apr 8, 2026
Summary
When using the companion feature (Veldt), Claude cannot see or access the companion's speech bubble comments. This means when a user references something the companion said, Claude has no context and the user has to manually relay the information.
Current behavior
- Veldt's comments appear in a speech bubble next to the user's input box
- Claude has no visibility into these comments
- Users have to copy/paste or describe what the companion said
Expected behavior
Claude should be able to read the companion's comments so it can:
- Respond to user references like "buddy had a good point about X"
- Incorporate companion feedback without the user having to relay it manually
Why this matters
The companion often provides useful contextual observations. Having Claude unable to see them creates an awkward UX where the user becomes a middleman between two AI outputs in the same interface.
