[BUG] Usage doesn't work in a long Claude Code session

What's Wrong?

When Claude Code has been open for a very long time (can't tell exactly, in the order of hours), Usage stops showing data.

Even after exiting Status and typing /status or /usage again, it doesn't show usage.
One has to quit Claude Code completely and re-open:

What Should Happen?

Usage should be shown regardless of session length.

1. Open Claude Code
2. Observe /usage (not sure this is a necessary step, Schrödinger's cat.
3. Wait many hours (sorry, can't tell how many, try 10)
4. Observe /usage
