Feature Request

Description

Currently the /buddy companion system supports pet and off sub-commands. It would be great to add a /buddy feed interaction to give the companion more depth and engagement.

Motivation

  • The buddy system is delightful but interactions are limited to just petting
  • Feeding would add another way to bond with your companion
  • Could tie into mood states (hungry -> happy after feeding)
  • Makes the companion feel more alive and interactive

Suggested Behavior

  • /buddy feed — feed your buddy (animation + mood boost)
  • Optional: different food types with different reactions
  • Optional: buddy gets hungry over time if not fed, affecting its mood/expressions

Current Commands

  • /buddy — show companion
  • /buddy pet — pet companion (heart effect)
  • /buddy off — hide companion

Environment

  • Claude Code on Windows 11
  • Buddy: Pickle (dragon species)
