  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

[BUG] Claude Opus 4.6 shows evidence of purpusfully sabotaging code and implementations.. the Smallest local model found all the issues implementations from Opys 4.6 .. and it should be shameful for antropix to be wasting peoples token like this.. its horrible .. easy to justify revenues spikes even in failling private equity valuations when your cheating.

What Should Happen?

im so upset.. what should happen is not lieing about benchmarks , not manipulatiing users.. Cross Plattform years of credits . and stop lieing really . the world needs to know

Same issue claude 4.6 creates problems for itself to solve to stay relevant

why removing it its not invalid.. and claude is becoming more and more stupid
anwyay tipical reality of antropix. they dont care.

eh.. .. i mean why we paying 200$? u should be paying your users @claude

in Claudecode always also.. i mean its making zero sense.. in the same conversation at least 50 times asked to verify things before pumping shit out of its ass .. and it doesnt care.. and also is very convingly none check . this is very bad. overall . and its been over 6 months.

i mean how many more proofs its been 6 months + of this non sense.. if i wanted imagination i would not pay 200 $ for something to hallucinate 1 million times per day .. @claude Seriously

again i m using a free model in open code to watch my 200 $ per month amazing claude reasonning and correct it.. this is a joke.. the world should know. U can ignore this as a bug as MUCH as u want.. it will never change the truth.. horrible .

i had just done a commit litterally 2 replies before.. but no .. its better to take the risk and edit back a 20 k py instead of just reverting.. super smart.. use more tokens.. cause thats good for ipo

" but the q8 code is removed.." ya ya ya ya ya .. till i hit render again and oups .. made mistake in a revert ! but its ok use tokens. and then u have the balls to ask for extra money for api this or that.. its insane.. now with billions of dollards u can maybe train a good model for peoples and stop being so greedy ?

yep ! a free model working and following protocol and actually not frustrating me. how good it is that people actually dont capitilize on everythign and do things for actually usefull ways and not frustrating and wasting peoples time.. i can litterally picture it , in 5 years , peoples are handcuffed with antropix or other wanna control ur ways tools vs free peoples that are independent and more efficient.. its so wrong . the mentality is wrong . goodluck

their is 1 solution .. getting 3 Claude Code session open all on opus 4.6 gettting them all 3 to validate each others.. then opus does not diverge and waste all night forgetting tasks and just self convnicing itself that its done what was ask.. seems like claude loves to be convincing .. wrongly in many cases.. so again WHy are we getting to wste Our Credits because Your models and the implementation of your harness is not correct!? u removed the OpenCode connection which was Bounding your models to force them to do what they should be doing.. now u force us to use a weak Code app that doesnt do enough to keep ur models on track ..

Claude code is also very buggy in sessions .. yes yes fix start a new session thanks for the help!

Point is .. you force peoples to be able to have ANy kind of way to make opus works in a proper core setup in frstrauctured to be in side of claudecode.. as u just overchage any api with Open code or anything else.. and your own claude code is very much filled with bugs.. so .. thanks .. wonder where the 250 Billion$ is going ..

thats an api error in claudecode using opus 4.7 .. and its been this way on any opus before since i can remember.

Cgfluids · 2 months ago

Idont even know why i m doing this .. been basically paying to beta test a hiped u company that doesnt care forits users and testers .. but end of the day this is what a properly followed harness produces , the model should just shut up and do its steps within the lines permitted .. like any other models. cause you claim you know better how the user wants hes life arranged and guaranty needles in a haystack found any time and efficently? your completly wrong. and your doing it on purpose for profits.. . .

<analysis>

  • The session began with already-completed v91 paper/dashboard/v97 research context and a pending live/paper status answer.
  • After the user asked to continue, current read-only status checks were delivered:
  • v90 live running/flat.
  • v89 paper running.
  • v91 paper running with 1 paper kNEIRO trade closed net -1.0683.
  • v89/v90 parity SAME.
  • overnight watch completed OK.
  • User then pasted repeated v90 stale-rotation log lines from 2026-04-26 and asked to inspect all live logs, find why it happened, and fix it “correctly forever and dynamically.”
  • Investigation found:
  • v89 did not produce a 2026-04-26 rotation.
  • v89_current_rotation.json stayed at 2026-04-25T00:03:08.999305+00:00.
  • v89 repeatedly failed HL REST fetches with SSLError(PermissionError(1, 'Operation not permitted')).
  • v89 also failed writing v89_current_rotation.json during fallback with PermissionError: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted.
  • v90 correctly refused to mirror stale v89 rotation, but incorrectly skipped bar processing every 15m.
  • v91 and the data collector were healthy, and a fresh shell API call to HL returned status 200/universe_len 230, so the issue was process-specific/stale-v89-state, not a global HL outage.
  • User questioned why v89 rotation would ever be unavailable if v90 should rotate like v89.
  • Explanation given:
  • v89 remains source of truth.
  • v90 should not independently pick different pairs.
  • But if v89 has not produced a fresh file, v90 should continue with last mirrored v89 slots and retry, not freeze.
  • User approved a durable fix.
  • Scoped source patch was made only to:
  • hyperliquid_runner_v89.py
  • hyperliquid_runner_v90.py
  • ALO/order logic was intentionally not changed.
  • Patch behavior:
  • v89 no longer waits 60s before scanning because v89 is now the source for v90.
  • v89 aborts scans after 10 consecutive fetch failures before any success.
  • v89 keeps previous slots on all-pair scan failure.
  • v89 catches rotation-file write failures.
  • v89 retries rotation on 900s cooldown while continuing bar processing.
  • v90 keeps last mirrored v89 slots if fresh v89 mirror unavailable.
  • v90 uses 30s bar-loop mirror wait and 900s retry cooldown.
  • Checks after patch:
  • py_compile passed.
  • git diff --check passed.
  • isolated temp-dir tests passed for v89 early abort/fallback and v90 stale-v89 fallback.
  • User approved restart.
  • Restart sequence:
  • Confirmed v90 exchange flat.
  • First v89 restart attempt did not cleanly stop old loop; then stopped all v89 paper processes and started clean v89 PID 45050.
  • v89 fresh rotation completed successfully:
  • LONG ZEREBRO:squeeze_buy PF 6.53.
  • SHORT BLAST:ob_near_high PF 12.74.
  • timestamp 2026-04-26T11:05:53.433962+00:00.
  • 188/188 pairs OK, 0 failed, 5329 trades.
  • Ran scripts/restart_v90_live.sh.
  • Script checked flat exchange, mirrored v89 into v90, ran compile/parity gates, then started v90 live PID 46651.
  • Post-restart process snapshot confirmed v89, v90, v91, and data collector running.
  • Current work was interrupted while reading post-restart logs/processes before delivering final restart-status answer.

</analysis>

<summary>

1. Primary Request and Intent

  • User wanted current live/paper status:
  • “hows the live and papers going . whats the status on all”
  • User then wanted full live-log investigation for stale rotation errors:
  • “Check all the live logs”
  • pasted repeated v90 lines:

``text
[ROTATE] Waiting for fresh v89 rotation: stale v89 rotation timestamp 2026-04-25T00:03:08.999305+00:00 expected date 2026-04-26
[ROTATE] Cannot mirror v89 paper rotation: stale v89 rotation timestamp 2026-04-25T00:03:08.999305+00:00 expected date 2026-04-26
[ROTATE] Mirror failed; keeping current slots and skipping rotation
``

  • “see why and what happened”
  • “fix this so it works Correctly For ever and dynamically”
  • “produces the closest results possible to v89 while still being correct ALO as v90”
  • User questioned design:
  • “but why would v89 rotation be unavalaible ? We just ant v90 to rotate just like v89 no ?”
  • User approved durable patch:
  • “ok can you fix this correctly for ever and dynamically .. we should never get any failled rotations /”
  • User approved restart:
  • “yes go ahead”
  • Current meta request:
  • update anchored summary with all new facts.

2. Key Technical Concepts

  • v89 PAPER is source of truth for v90 LIVE pair/config selection.
  • v90 LIVE mirrors v89 rotation to preserve live-vs-paper parity.
  • v90 must preserve correct live ALO/post-only behavior; ALO/order logic was not touched.
  • Same-day rotation timestamp guard:
  • v90 refuses stale v89_current_rotation.json.
  • Rotation failure modes:
  • all-pair scan failure.
  • stale rotation file.
  • rotation-file write failure.
  • long-running process-specific OS/network permission failure.
  • Durable behavior now:
  • fail closed to previous rotation.
  • continue bar processing.
  • retry rotation/mirror on cooldown.
  • avoid full-universe failure storms.
  • Monitoring distinction:
  • SDK/API timeout warnings are not hidden positions.
  • exchange state positions are authoritative.
  • v91 remains paper-only validation.
  • v97 remains research-only.

3. Files and Code Sections

  • /Users/rifdag/Documents/Trader Only/hyperliquid_runner_v89.py
  • Modified for durable v89 rotation fallback.
  • Constants added near rotation file config:

``python
ROTATION_FILE = WORK_DIR / "v89_current_rotation.json"
ROTATION_RETRY_COOLDOWN_SECONDS = 900
ROTATION_ABORT_AFTER_CONSECUTIVE_FETCH_FAILURES = 10
``

  • Early abort added inside run_monthly_rotation():

``python
consecutive_fetch_failures = 0
...
cdf = fetch_candles(coin, n_bars=500, info=None)
if cdf is None:
failed_pair_names.append(f"{coin}(fetch_none)")
consecutive_fetch_failures += 1
if scanned == 0 and consecutive_fetch_failures >= ROTATION_ABORT_AFTER_CONSECUTIVE_FETCH_FAILURES:
log.error(
f"[ROTATE] Aborting scan after {consecutive_fetch_failures} consecutive fetch failures "
"before any pair succeeded"
)
break
continue
``

  • All-pair failure fallback:

``python
if scanned == 0:
log.error("[ROTATE] All pair scans failed; keeping previous rotation and retrying later")
return _previous_rotation_fallback(
"scan_failed_all_pairs",
pairs_scanned=scanned,
trades_in_window=len(all_trades),
failed_pairs=failed_pairs,
)
``

  • Incomplete-side fallback now keeps previous side(s):

```python
fallback_used = False
fallback_from = None
if best_long is None or best_short is None:
log.warning(f"[ROTATE] Scan picks incomplete (L={best_long}, S={best_short}), keeping previous side(s)")
previous = load_current_rotation()
fallback_from = {
"timestamp": previous.get("timestamp"),
"source": previous.get("source", "unknown"),
}
if best_long is None:
best_long = previous["long"]
if best_short is None:
best_short = previous["short"]
fallback_used = True
```

  • Safe rotation write:

``python
def _safe_write_rotation(result: dict) -> bool:
try:
ROTATION_FILE.write_text(json.dumps(result, indent=2))
return True
except Exception as e:
log.error(f"[ROTATE] Could not write {ROTATION_FILE}: {e}")
return False
``

  • Previous-rotation fallback helper:

``python
def _previous_rotation_fallback(reason: str, pairs_scanned: int = 0,
trades_in_window: int = 0,
failed_pairs: int = 0) -> dict:
previous = load_current_rotation()
result = {
"long": previous["long"],
"short": previous["short"],
"timestamp": datetime.now(timezone.utc).isoformat(),
"source": f"previous_rotation_fallback:{reason}",
"pairs_scanned": pairs_scanned,

4. Errors and Fixes

  • v90 stale rotation loop:
  • Error:

``text
[ROTATE] Waiting for fresh v89 rotation: stale v89 rotation timestamp 2026-04-25T00:03:08.999305+00:00 expected date 2026-04-26
[ROTATE] Cannot mirror v89 paper rotation: stale v89 rotation timestamp 2026-04-25T00:03:08.999305+00:00 expected date 2026-04-26
[ROTATE] Mirror failed; keeping current slots and skipping rotation
``

  • Root cause:
  • v89 did not write a fresh 2026-04-26 rotation.
  • v90 correctly refused stale v89 JSON but froze bar processing.
  • Fix:
  • v89 now keeps previous rotation and retries on cooldown.
  • v90 now keeps last mirrored v89 slots and continues bar processing.
  • v89 fetch storm:
  • Error:

``text
HTTPSConnectionPool(host='api.hyperliquid.xyz', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /info (Caused by SSLError(PermissionError(1, 'Operation not permitted')))
``

  • Root cause:
  • long-running v89 process had process-specific permission/network failure.
  • v91 and data collector were healthy; fresh shell API call returned status 200, universe_len 230.
  • Fix:
  • v89 restart loaded clean process.
  • source now aborts scan after 10 consecutive failures before any success.
  • v89 rotation-file write crash:
  • Error:

``text
PermissionError: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: '/Users/rifdag/Documents/Trader Only/v89_current_rotation.json'
``

  • Root cause:
  • v89 fallback write was not guarded.
  • Fix:
  • added _safe_write_rotation() and fallback behavior that does not crash main loop.
  • First v89 restart issue:
  • Problem:
  • initial kill 63898 63902 ...; nohup ... did not cleanly resolve old v89 loop/state.
  • Fix:
  • stopped every exact v89 paper process.
  • verified no v89 process remained.
  • started clean v89 paper PID 45050.
  • Patch validation:
  • Commands passed:

``bash
./venv/bin/python3 -m py_compile hyperliquid_runner_v89.py hyperliquid_runner_v90.py
git diff --check -- hyperliquid_runner_v89.py hyperliquid_runner_v90.py
``

  • Both returned no output.
  • Isolated logic checks passed:

``text
v89 early-abort fallback OK: 10 previous_rotation_fallback:scan_failed_all_pairs SAGA BLAST
v90 stale-v89 fallback OK: bar_wait 30 mirrored_v89_paper:daily_3d_live_backtest SAGA BLAST
``

  • “Exact changes:

v89: if daily rotation scan fails all pairs, keep previous rotation instead of crashing or pretending bad data is fresh.
v89: catch rotation-file write failures so the main loop keeps processing bars.
v89: stop retrying the full 219-pair rotation every loop; retry on cooldown.
v90: if fresh v89 mirror is unavailable, keep current mirrored slots and continue bar processing instead of freezing every bar.
v90: keep ALO entry behavior untouched.

but why would v89 rotation be unavalaible ? We just ant v90 to rotate just like v89 no ? ”
