[BUG] Pycharm ESC shortcut doesn't work after I installed claude

Environment

• [x] Other: Claude CLI & Pycharm
• Claude CLI version: 1.0.57
• Operating System: Mac OS 15.5
• Terminal: Pycharm Terminal

Bug Description

Hi, I have an issue exactly opposite to https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/664 this issue.

• I can use ESC to stop claude, but I can not use ESC to switch focus to Editor
• In Shortcut, I set Switch Focus to Editor to use ESC

Steps to Reproduce

1. open terminal
2. type anything
3. press esc and nothing happens

Expected Behavior

should focus editor

Actual Behavior

nothing happens
