[BUG] transcript spontaneously disappears

What's Wrong?

when i'm running subagents in claude code, sometimes the transcript just clears until the agent exits. pressing ctrl+o doesn't show anything. this is in an intellij terminal window.

What Should Happen?

the transcript should persist until i /clear or /compact, or autocompact happens
