Description
Voice mode flickers rapidly between "waiting for input" and recording when holding Space, making it impossible to use push-to-talk.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Windows Terminal running Ubuntu WSL2
- Launch Claude Code
- Run
/voice - Hold Space to record
The recording state flickers/toggles rapidly instead of staying in recording mode.
Attempted fixes
- Changed Windows keyboard repeat delay and rate settings
- Logged out and back in to apply changes
- Issue persists regardless of repeat settings
Environment
- Terminal: Windows Terminal
- Shell: WSL2 Ubuntu
- OS: Linux 6.6.87.2-microsoft-standard-WSL2 (WSL2)
- Host OS: Windows
