Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
The system tray icon of Claude for Windows is always black, making it invisible or hard to see on dark taskbars, and visually inconsistent on light taskbars.
OS: Windows 11
What Should Happen?
The tray icon should adapt to the Windows theme (white on dark taskbars, black on light taskbars), similar to how
other Electron apps like VS Code handle it.
Ideally, the tray icon would use Claude's orange brand icon instead, which would be clearly visible on both light and dark taskbars without needing theme adaptation.
