Problem Statement

just wanted to give you some feedback and your Superpowers plugin is so valuable to me and my project is moving forward because of it, thank you:
Title: Solo founder built full AI SaaS platform over 2 years — Claude Code + Superpowers made it possible

Body:

I'm a solo founder in Vancouver, BC, building RetroHub AI — a full-stack AI creative production platform (Next.js, TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Firebase Auth, Docker). After 2 years of self-funded development, the platform has 242 API routes, 85 database models, 282 React components, 5 integrated AI providers, a dollar-based billing engine, CI/CD pipeline, and dual production environments — all built and maintained by one person.

I want to give direct feedback: Claude Code with the Superpowers plugin has been transformative for my productivity and has saved me significant money.

What's working exceptionally well:

  • Brainstorming skill — I used it to go from a rough creative idea to a complete 10-document project suite in a single session: business plan with 3-year financials, formal business requirements document, phase 1 technical scope with acceptance criteria, user journeys, selling points reference, and a full VC readiness kit. The structured question-by-question approach kept the output focused and grounded in my actual codebase rather than generic advice.
  • Subagent parallelism — Being able to dispatch multiple research and writing agents simultaneously is a game-changer for a solo developer. In one session I had agents researching market pain points, analyzing my codebase for backend-frontend gaps, writing formal documentation, and gathering cloud pricing data — all running in parallel. Work that would have taken me days of context-switching happened in hours.
  • Codebase awareness — Claude Code understands my entire project structure, reads my Prisma schema, knows my API patterns, references actual file paths and line numbers. When it wrote technical specifications, it referenced my real code (specific routes, components, lib files) rather than making assumptions. This is night-and-day compared to generic AI assistance.
  • The CLAUDE.md system — Having project-level instructions that persist across sessions means Claude Code already knows my conventions (await params in Next.js 16, force-dynamic exports, Prisma import patterns, auth guards). I don't re-explain my stack every conversation.
  • Memory system — Cross-session memory for project context, user preferences, and feedback means Claude Code builds up understanding of my project over time. It remembers architectural decisions, completed phases, and my preferences for how to work.
  • Architecture partner for complex systems — Our next major feature is "Neuro Cortex" — a self-healing AI infrastructure layer with circuit breakers, automatic provider failover, AI-driven ops analysis, and a live model registry. Claude Code helped design the full architecture: two-loop system (deterministic fast loop every 30s + AI analysis slow loop every 15min), 5 new Prisma models, 7-phase implementation plan, resilient request flow with capability-aware fallback chains, and promo upgrade logic for user conversion. This is the kind of system design work that normally requires a senior architect — Claude Code acted as one.

The net result: as a solo technical founder with no external funding, Claude Code has effectively given me the output capacity of a small team. I've been able to build and maintain a production platform, design self-healing AI infrastructure, plan a major product expansion (Creative Studio — a story-first AI creative production pipeline), produce investor-ready documentation, and research funding strategies — all while keeping my infrastructure costs under $100/month.

For solo founders and small teams, this tool is a genuine force multiplier. Keep building.

— Evan Wiley, Vancouver, BC
