For 2 days claude has been retrying various solutions to add event logs in a windows app. Never worked. Cost a ton of tokens.

What Claude Actually Did

Kept trying a, then b, then c, then back to a, then b, .... . I don't understand why something as common as log entries are so difficult for this AI. When asked it even acknowledges that it is retrying the same failed approapch. Looks more like anthropic is just spending my tokens.
