What Should Happen?

Claude should be able to respond but it's dead now after the update.

Steps to Reproduce

Update Claude Code with the suggested claude --install command. Start it up. It fails to load anything now.

Is this a regression?

Yes, this worked in a previous version

Last Working Version

NPM version worked. Now I'm on native version of CC and it fails.
