Bug Description
When using Claude Code's built-in remote-control feature on a mobile device, the session unexpectedly switches to edit mode (acceptEdits) during normal use without any intentional user action.
Environment
- Claude Code version: 2.1.86
- Device: iPhone 16 Pro Max
- Client: Claude app (latest version)
- Feature: Remote Control (built-in, not Google Remote Desktop)
Steps to Reproduce
- Start a Claude Code session on desktop
- Connect via remote-control from iPhone
- Use the session normally for some time
- Session mode switches to edit mode unexpectedly
Expected Behavior
The permission mode should remain unchanged unless the user explicitly switches it.
Actual Behavior
The session switches to edit mode on its own during normal remote-control usage on mobile.
Additional Context
- No intentional Shift+Tab or mode-switching action was performed
- This happens specifically through the remote-control feature, not through other remote desktop tools
