Problem Statement

Summary
Add a mid-tier subscription plan between Free and Pro, targeted at non-developer everyday users who need more than Free but don't need Pro's full feature set.
My Situation
I'm based in Germany and use Claude regularly for writing, research, and general Q&A — not coding. The Pro plan at $20/month includes features I'll never use (Claude Code, extended thinking, coding tools), making it poor value for my use case. The Free plan is too limited for consistent daily use.
Proposed "Lite" Plan (~$8–$10/month)

Available in local currency (EUR for EU users)

Precedent
ChatGPT offers a "Plus Lite" style tier that addresses exactly this gap. Many casual users in Europe and emerging markets would convert from Free → Lite who would never pay $20/month for Pro.
Why This Matters

EU users already pay ~19% VAT on top of USD pricing, making Pro effectively ~$24/month
Non-developers have no use for Claude Code (included in Pro)
A Lite plan could significantly increase paid user conversion from the large Free user base
