[Bug] Input text disappears in chatbox, terminal becomes unresponsive

Bug Description
For some reason, I lost the ability to type into the Claude chatbox. Whenever I wrote 'hi,' the text would just disappear. After waiting for a while and leaving the terminal alone, this happened. It looks like I randomly spammed 'hi,' but I wasn't actually able to do anything for several minutes.
