[Bug] Terminal becomes unresponsive after viewing global memory file in VSCode

Bug Description
when running /memory and choosing to view the global memory file VSC pops open with the file. When I go back to the CC terminal it is none responsive and I can't exit out of the /memory menu back to chat. I can't ctrl-c I can't /exit nothing happens if hit the esckey. The only action is to close the terminal tab completely and reopen and then load claude code fresh. I"m on a macbook air m1 on macOS 26.5.1 (25F80) using cmux v0.64.17 and v2.1.200 of claude code.
