[BUG] Claude version identification by claude code

Bug Description

despite clearly documenting and sharing the claude-4-sonnet (or Opus) curl commands, claude code thinks that claude 3.0 opus is the latest version. stating it in claude.md or in any instructions.md or sharing the command from anthropic doesnot help.
