[BUG] Usage Spike

What's Wrong?

I noticed a rapid spike in usage for basic tasks and I'm on Claude Max, already at 53% 37 mins (single task). Something is throttling (suspected bug)

What Should Happen?

Token consumption should be accurate/equal to actual task effort.
