Voice mode spacebar regression on Linux/GNOME Terminal — 2.1.83
Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Mar 25, 2026 by zigzagwanderer Closed Apr 19, 2026
OS: Ubuntu 24.04, GNOME Terminal (no multiplexer)
Affected version: 2.1.83
Working version: 2.1.81
When voice mode is enabled and spacebar is held to record, the visual indicator responds correctly (button changes color/flashes) but the spacebar also passes through as normal input, typing spaces across the terminal instead of capturing audio.
Rolled back to 2.1.81 — voice mode works correctly there. Appears to be a regression in raw keyboard input suppression introduced in 2.1.83.
