[Feature Request] Add runtime toggle for dontAsk permission mode

Resolved 💬 2 comments Opened Mar 25, 2026 by toh-ableton Closed Apr 24, 2026

Bug Description
There's no way to activate the dontAsk permission mode from within a session, even though that would come in quite handy. To add insult to injury, once you've cycled away from it via Shift-Tab, there's no way to get it back other than re-starting the cli. It's completely unclear how to use it from the VS Code extension.

If you don't want to add it to the Shift+Tab cycle for whatever mysterious reasons you might have, please add at least a /permission-mode command or similar that let's me activate the mode I want.
