Problem Statement

I don't trust --dangerously-skip-permissions. --permission-mode dontAsk is great. So far I've been using the workflow:

  1. Create a plan in plan mode.
  2. /rename \<something\>
  3. Quit claude
  4. Re-open claude with --permission-mode dontAsk
  5. /resume \<something\>
  6. Let it cook.

I would love some feature to let me get back into don't ask mode without closing and re-opening the tool. Claude itself said this didn't exist and suggested asking here. Thanks in advance!

Proposed Solution

Run /dont-ask to get into don't ask mode.

Alternative Solutions

Add "don't ask" mode to the modes cycled through by shift + tab

Priority

Medium - Would be very helpful
