Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing requests and this feature hasn't been requested yet
  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

Claude Code VSCode extension is missing any visual clue for requesting extra usage. This is inconsistent with both Claude app and CC for terminal, and also with the documentation:
https://support.claude.com/en/articles/12005970-manage-extra-usage-for-team-and-seat-based-enterprise-plans#h_35eba3f271

Proposed Solution

I would like to see either similar link as in Claude or text suggestion as in terminal Claude Code. Simple edit to the message from:

You've hit your limit · resets <time>

->

You've hit your limit · resets <time>. You can request extra usage by typing `/extra-usage`.

This would be simple but convenient change. Since I dived into it, i will now remember /extra-usage command, but every day there will be someone who did not see it and who will be blocked while you can get more money from us.
