Bypass mode selection stays on Plan mode instead of switching

Bug Description

When clicking "Bypass mode" and accepting the confirmation dialog, the UI stays on Plan mode instead of actually switching to Bypass mode.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Be in Plan mode
  2. Click to switch to Bypass mode
  3. Accept the confirmation prompt
  4. Mode indicator still shows Plan mode instead of Bypass mode

Environment

  • OS: Windows 11 Home 10.0.26200
  • Claude Code desktop app
