[BUG] Sessions get interrupted automatically without any error logging
Resolved 💬 5 comments Opened Mar 19, 2026 by LazurcaDaniel Closed Apr 17, 2026
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
When I input a prompt that generates subagents or uses the Explore Agent, all sessions interrup after a few seconds, like I pressed escape to interrupt it manually. After that, any other prompt interrupts automatically.
Version: 2.1.79
- OS: macOS Darwin 24.6.0, Apple Terminal
- Symptom: "Interrupted · What should Claude do instead?" appears seconds after prompt, specifically after subagent/Explore tool calls complete
- Debug log shows no error — session ends silently
- Not caused by: RAM, keyboard, MCP servers, plugins, terminal, rate limits
- Coworkers with same setup are not affected
