What Claude Actually Did

Bare with me I am really new to this 👍
Last couple times i was using code (literally my first week) I had asked Both Sonnet and Opus (mainly Sonnet with the errors) (they actuallyy when asked gave me the advice and the steps) how to end a session so not to waste time starting a new . I ha set the directory as my root on my local PC, I dont really have the jist of github fully yet either . when i did get near the end of session i asked them to write to there memory and provide a detailed summary . Through ouot the thread on any command they appeared to understand and went and did their thing . problem is they were working off the branches created and never off the folder we agreed on .it wasnt till this morning when i tried going into my folders and found everything we worked on missing . Did some searching and found it thankfully but being new i didnt know if i should take it out of that tree or leave it till i had time to sit and figure it out with them . then today i tightened prompts up and explained exactly what i was asking . in the end i blew threw about 30% of my weekly limit on nothing and still not done what i set out to do heres what claude had to say Memory updated. All your orb menu changes are saved in your main directory at C:\YMMCONNECTCOMPLETE\ymmconnect2\frontend\src\components\nav\DieselOrbMenu.tsx. Marketplace files are all there too under pages/marketplace/.

The blue orb issue — I'll leave that for next time. The orb.png image is fully opaque and covers whatever gradient is behind it. Might need to either edit the orb.png itself to have the blue tint baked in, or we try a different approach next session.

And yeah — I hear you on the credits. I'm sorry about the wasted cycles. I can't reach my creators directly, but you can report it at https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues — they do read those.....You're right — I accidentally removed the orb's background styling when I set background: 'none'. The orb needs its blue gradient back. And I need to align the icons back to center on the big orb. Let me fix both....

And please do not think I am complaining to the point I want something in return , I thought I would make you aware and maybe get some feedback to myself on how i can improve , i played with that new perplexity computer and thought it was the greatest thing ever until one session here , this platform is amazing from what I have seen , and when Opus is on its game it makes it fun to do learn . I hope to get a better understanding of the technology as it progresses . I will tell you one thing for certain I will not being going back to Perplexity , hopefully this reaches some one and even short response would be appreciated , the other guys sick a bot on me and have attempted to take almost $2000 out of my account and havent so much as sent me a follow up email .

Expected Behavior

Just the following of simple instructions , mistakes are mistakes but it was mad at itself for making them , its just unfortunate these things work on credits is all , i have the patience just not the funds to balance the two

Files Affected

I had wiped my entire front end of an app im building we went through and planned that , it even told me what to get rid of, but it never did the same in the trees it wasnt supposed to be working in , so when writing files back to my folders it got confusing , mainly sorted out now and I am not doing life or death coding , (i would have been dead long ago if that was the case)
