Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing requests and this feature hasn't been requested yet
  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

As the title says - please make Claude Desktop compatible with Intune App SDK for Microsoft to recognise it as MAM-capable, so it can be included in Intune App Protection Policy.

It currently doesn't, so if there are Entra Conditional Policies that require Intune App Protection control, Claude M365 connector fails to connect to M365 resources as it doesn't satisfy the requirements.

Thanks.

Proposed Solution

Make Claude Desktop compatible with Intune App SDK for Microsoft to recognise it as MAM-capable and add to Intune App Protection control.

Alternative Solutions

No solutions at the moment - we need to either disable Intune App Policy or add additional Grant control in Conditional Policies which inevitably affects the setup and is not a long-term solution.

Priority

High - Significant impact on productivity

Feature Category

MCP server integration

Use Case Example

Many companies use M365 connector in Claude which is one of the core productivity features. Companies that utilise Intune App Protection policy will face issues with Claude being unable to retrieve data using M365 connector.
