[BUG] Claude Code VS Code extension is not compatible with OS X 26 Tahoe Beta

Environment

• Claude CLI version: 1.0.27 (Claude Code)
• Operating System: macOS Tahoe 26.0 Beta (25A5279m)

Bug Description

The plugin is all validated and says it is installed but the plugin never loads to the UI and the claude code icon is not available. I have tried on both VS Code and Cursor.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install claude code in VS Code
2. Notice the success
3. Now try to use it and the plugin is not showing.

Expected Behavior

Plugin would be available.

Actual Behavior

plugin is not showing.
