[Bug] Cursor blinking state is incorrectly changed on exiting
Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Mar 16, 2026 by unikitty37 Closed Mar 20, 2026
Bug Description
I'm using Claude Code in the Jetbrains terminal (in RubyMine, if that matters). When I open the terminal, the cursor does not blink. It continues not blinking while I am using Claude Code. But after I exit, the cursor is blinking, which is horribly distracting. The only way around it is to completely close that terminal session and start a new one. Please could Claude Code not make the cursor blink?
Additionally, the environment info thinks I'm using Pycharm, not RubyMine. This is presumably why it keeps suggesting I install the Pycharm add-on, despite my not using Python at all…
