[Bug] Statusline blocks when directory access permission denied in v2.1.76

Question

**Bug Description**
When I start claude code in version 2.1.74 and have a configured statusline, I have no problem, no matter how I run it. Since version 2.1.76, the statusline no longer wants to display properly due to the fact that if the directory is not allowed, then in this case it blocks.

The problem is that even by running it in normal mode, without explicit permission, the message does not always appear and therefore blocks the statusline display. There's a fix to apply here.
