claude status command cannot be dismissed (q, Esc, Ctrl+C unresponsive)

Bug Description
The claude status command output cannot be closed or dismissed. None of the expected key bindings work to exit.
Keys Tried
q— no effectEsc— no effectCtrl+C— no effect
Other Claude Code commands work fine and can be exited normally.
Environment
- Claude Code: v2.1.72
- macOS: Tahoe 26.3.1 (Darwin 25.3.0)
- Terminal: iTerm2 v3.6.8
- Shell: zsh
