[BUG] Claude Code Chat not stopping and wasting tokens

What's Wrong?

I just upgraded to the max plan, and then was using the Claude Code Chat in Visual Studio Code that's integrated with my project and I tried stopping it from doing what it was working on, and it wouldn't stop. Then it gave a error message and kept trying to continue though I kept trying to stop it. It ended up wasting a ton of my tokens. I'm pretty upset. It'd be nice to get 1 session gifted to my account. But good luck getting that...

So many times, if I click the stop button in Claude Code Chat, it keeps going, running into error message loops, and wasting a ton of credits till my whole session is wasted; which breaks the loop. I can't even use my old chat now for fear it'll use up the rest of my session usage so I had to start a new chat...
I'd be nice if someone could fix the stop button. It's pretty serious if you can't stop the AI chat from running.

What Should Happen?

Clicking Stop, should stop Claude code chat immediately.
