[BUG] Claude Code is not completing tasks

Environment

• Claude CLI version: 1.0.44
• Operating System: linux
• Terminal: Terminal App

Bug Description

Claude Code is not completing tasks, it will write but not run the scripts or update files, it returns back to waiting for your input, tried opening a new terminal same results

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run Claude Code
2. Give instruction

Expected Behavior

Claude Follows through writes, executes without interruption unless asking for further context or review not a dead drop.

Actual Behavior

Claude will burn through tokens and then early exit , returning back to use input with no context as if it failed. no error messages. Reproduced 3 times.
