[FEATURE] Remove statusLine in the VS Code Claude Code plugin

Problem Statement

I am using the Claude Code plugin in VS Code and while Claude is working there is an ever churning of words changing every second or so like "Clauding", "Frolicking" etc.

Proposed Solution

This is truly annoying and I would very much like to have the opportunity to turn this off. Have asked Claude about it and there does not seem to be a way to get rid of this in the plugin.
