[BUG] Claude Desktop hangs, MacOS 26.3, M3 Chip. Latest download installed. Still hangs

What's Wrong?

Claude Desktop is hanging on my MacOS 26.3 M3 MacBook Pro. Reinstall didn't work. App launches and immediately spins. Shows inactive in the Activity Monitor. Had high hopes for getting ahead of my week with CoWork today.

What Should Happen?

It should not hang.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Click on the Claude Desktop Icon.
2. Watch the pointer spin until you Force Quit.
