[BUG] Issue logging into Claude Code in VS Code with Pro subscription

What's Wrong?

Hello Claude Support Team,

I am currently using the Claude Pro plan with my company email address (vanlong.huynh@namitech.io).

However, I am having trouble using Claude Code in Visual Studio Code on Windows via the Claude Code for VS Code extension.

When I try to sign in from the extension and choose “Login with subscription”, the login process completes successfully but redirects me to the Claude Developer Platform instead.

After that, when I try to use Claude Code inside VS Code, I receive the following error:

Failed to authenticate. API Error: 403 {"error":{"type":"trial_expired","message":"Your trial has expired. Please upgrade to continue using the service."}}

I also tried running /login from the terminal as prompted, but the same error still occurs.

Environment:

• Claude plan: PRO
• Email account: [vanlong.huynh@namitech.io](mailto:vanlong.huynh@namitech.io)
• OS: Windows 11
• IDE: Visual Studio Code 1.110.0
• Extension: Claude Code for VS Code

Could you please help check what might be causing this issue and how I can resolve it?

What Should Happen?

Interestingly, one of my colleagues is able to log in and use Claude Code normally with their personal account, so it seems the issue may be related to my Pro subscription or company email account
