Problem: The text here is super unintuitive. What does it mean? Is it just me that doesn't understand.
What does this mean? Use this and all future MCP servers in this project
To reproduce, in a new directory type:
1) claude mcp add -t http example-mcp http://localhost:8765 -s project
2) Then type claude

In the sentence, what does "this" refer to? And even so why is there an "and". . .? Very confusing option.
"this" refers to the new MCP server that is found in .mcp.json (
example-mcpin your screenshot). If you add more MCP servers to .mcp.json, then you won't be prompted about those.Thank you @dicksontsai !
This issue (interpreted as only a question, fair) was closed but the confusing dialog text still exists in the product. Users are still seeing 'Use this and all future MCP servers in this project' which is unclear. Suggested fix: 'Use newly created .mcp.json as the configuration file for this project'
The fact that it's a small text change doesn't mean it should stay unclear - these kinds of unclear prompts can really confuse users trying to understand what they're agreeing to do.
