VSCode/Cursor Instability: Rapid Scrolling and Crash During Extended AI Code Generation

Bug Description
When running claude code for a while in VSCODE and7or Cursor, and typically when using ultrathink and parallel subagents, it starts going crazy with fast auto scrolling and eventually crashes.
