[Feature Request] Number keys should not trigger option selection when free text input is focused

Bug Description
I use the AskUserQuestion tool a lot, and many questions are about hours, so option 1 would be 12, option 2 13 and so, but then, if i want to write a custom answer like 16, when i press the number 1 it auto selects the first option. I understand why that's useful most of the time, but can you make it so if i'm already on the free text input option, then it doesn't capture the numbers?
