[Bug] Remote Control unavailable on Max 20x plan (v2.1.62, macOS)

Bug Description

Running claude remote-control returns: "Error: Remote Control is not yet available on your plan."

Environment

• Claude Code version: 2.1.62 (latest)
• Plan: Max 20x
• OS: macOS (Darwin 25.3.0)
• Auth method: OAuth (logged in via claude auth login)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run claude remote-control
2. Error: "Remote Control is not yet available on your plan."

Expected Behavior

Remote Control should start, as the Max plan is listed as supported in the official documentation.

Additional Context

• Confirmed Max 20x subscription via billing page
• Tried claude auth logout + claude auth login — same error
• Similar to #28816, #28833, #28884, #29164
