What You Asked Claude to Do

I asked Claude Code to investigate code implementation in Chinese. For example:
"帮我研究一下 compact 相关的代码实现"

What Claude Actually Did

Claude consistently prefixes its responses with the English phrase "Let me" before switching to Chinese, producing mixed-language output such as:
"Let me先研究一下 compact 相关的代码实现"
"Let me看看这个文件的内容"
"Let me检查一下这个函数"

Expected Behavior

When the user communicates in a non-English language, Claude should use that same language for transitional phrases.
