[BUG] eco-disaster, my time, my computer, LLM(opus 4.6), wasted AGAIN being lost as to what the cwd is. phenomenal

What's Wrong?

I spend about 30 minutes a day dealing with claude being lost hunting for the dir it supposed to be in but it's confused. really! is this sensible. are there other claude issues that are wasting more than a million users X 30 minutes X per day and tokens and LLM compute resources. Is this a conspiracy?

What Should Happen?

Claude should be able to keep track of what dir it cd'd from and why so it can get back. i'm sorry but this doesn't seem like that much context to pass to the LLM
