Context usage not visible in VS Code GUI

Context usage information is not displaying in the VS Code extension GUI. The /context command works correctly in CLI and returns expected data, but the visual/GUI representation is not rendering.

Environment

• VS Code extension
• Windows 11
• Claude Opus 4.6
• Claude Code (latest)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Code in VS Code extension
2. Attempt to view context usage via GUI
3. No context information displayed

Expected

Context usage should be visible in the GUI, similar to how /context displays it in CLI.

Workaround

Running /context command manually returns correct data.
