[BUG] On install Claude Code using VS code Extension, Claude give exit code 3
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Since yesterday, I have been unable to compile and run my automated test cases using Claude Code on my Asus ZenBook. I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps as suggested by Claude:
Reinstalled Claude Code with the latest ARM64 version.
Reinstalled Node.js with the latest ARM64 version.
Additionally, I attempted installing both Claude Code and Node.js in the x86 versions—as suggested by Claude—even though I was certain they would not be compatible due to the architecture mismatch between my ARM64 CPU and the x86 installation packages.
Sincere and Humble request to please look into this matter and help me out from this situation.
Now the situation is that even if I do not type any query it is throwing the error code straight away.
