[BUG] CLI is unusably broken.

What's Wrong?

It doesn't indicate when it's working. My submitted instructions vanish. The command line locks up. And it comes back not having finished the task. And it's painfully and unusually slow. The Chat interface works fine in VS Code, but I prefer the command line.

What Should Happen?

It should work as usual.
